The Trapezoid Building is a mixed use structure sited in an irregular lot. Due to the site's odd shape, we discovered that the connection of all levels should be centralized, to provide access to all sides, where communal and private rooms are properly distributed. It is designed to provide main residential space for the owner at 1st and 2nd level, and rentable spaces for 3rd to 4th level. Natural light and ventilation was made possible with vertical voids. Overall, the mixed use project is designed to be a single entity, which was achieved through connection of minimal elements from ground to its apex.
